Get Connected is laugh-out-loud TV, it’s all about connecting, prize money and having fun.
People all over the world wait on stand-by, via webcam, hoping they will be chosen by the studio player to answer a question correctly and attempt a challenge at home.
The studio player randomly selects a question category and then has to choose a webcammer that they have never seen before to answer the question. As each of the webcammers flash up on the studio video screen the player has 30 seconds to select one. The webcammer is asked the question and if they are correct they have started to make money and proceed to the physical challenge. This is where it gets really funny as the production has come up with lots of challenges that can happen in the home using everyday items like can you put fifteen clothes pegs on your face in thirty seconds. If they manage to do the challenge then the share the prize money with the studio player that picked them.
There is something naturally funny about putting somebody on a webcam at home up on a giant screen in studio in front of a large audience. They are on stage from their sofa!
